As you know Dave and I have been trialling the ratings  for UK racing. 
They may look complicated but really its easy to follow. 
We find the real time chat and feedback very useful so keep it up! 

Ok;  the ratings are based on sound principles that have stood the test of time and are a variation 
on a winning dutching system that I have used for many many years.
Dave has added his own input and we believe that we have created a very accurate indicator for 
you. 

Of course we are not going to tell you how they are calculated but I can tell you that doing it 
manually it takes hours! 

With Daves help I have written a program that creates them in minutes.

We have also added the Target Ratios of the runners to the bottom of ratings for each race. The ratios are in brackets
after the horses name. Any ratio fig less than 4 is advised at this time to be entered as zero.

A few common sense (to some LOL) pointers

1. Avoid races where there are horses/races without form. Max 16 runners.
a DEB is a horse that doesnt have all 3 ratings and you should be wary of them.
2. Look at the better class of races
3. Compare the listed horses with those showing orange in Bet-IE 
4. The top rated horses have a *** after their names and are listed in decending PMR order
5. The figures in brackets are the current form line eg 1st 2nd 3rd etc " Castleshane (329) *** "
6. The ratings are listed as follows

PMR (ProfitMansRatings)
Class (my rating) 
BPS (a study of form rating) 
SUM which is the total of the 3 ratings.

7. We are currently  studying the ratings and how they are weighted.
For example, if a horse has a high Class rating but low BPS then it is unbalanced..

What we are looking for is BALANCE, and as we continue this excercise these races will be 
highlighted for you by us. 

" ~ Race to watch"   is where we feel the ratings are most balanced. Compare the suggested runners with the live market. 
If any runner not mentioned in the ratios is indicated as orange then set its ratio to zero. 

Already you have seen how good these ratings are, and with careful selection and our guidance, 
we hope to make you good profits.
