Stoploss

The Stoploss in this new version of Bet-IE is available in multiple functions not just in the Hedging as the old version. We had a lot of feedback asking for a stoploss be made available for the Dutching Function and the Trading Function so we have added a dedicated Stoploss Function. One thing to be aware of when using the stoploss is you will need to cancel unmatched bets manually by clicking the check box next to the horses name in My Bets and click Modify Bets.

So lets look at whats available when we open the Stoploss

The first area of the Stoploss we will look at is the Stoploss Details

We have the choice in this area to select whether we are placing a Back stoploss or Lay stoploss we can define the Odds we would like the stoploss set at and also the size of the stake we would like using. Finally you have the choice of submitting manually or using an Auto send. (to help work your calculations don't forget you can use the Calculator by pressing F1 on the keyboard or right click the mouse and select Calculator)

Here we see our Bet Details in this case I am Laying first and using the Fix Lay Bet Table this will be explained in the next paragraph. You can see the Lay bet was placed using odds of 5.3 @ 23.26 and I need the odds to drift to 9.2 to lock in my profit of £10 I can then simply click on the Back Odds from the Betting Table to get the bet fired into the market. (Again if you wish to hold out for a larger profit utilise the calculator and enter your Hedge Stake then click on the Betting Table to submit at the revised staking)

The Betting Table relays your Live Position in the Market. Once you set the Fix Lay or Back Bet Table option (from the Hedging Details above) the profit or loss position is updated Live from the current market position. When you are happy with your position if you feel you need the Stoploss simply click on the Odds from within the Betting Table and remember to cancel any unmatched bets in the my bets area of Bet-IE.
