General Answers
1. You purchase a single PC Licence and the only further outlay you can have is
A)
If you require a second licence for another PC (for your own use) this is at a reduced rate.
B)
if you are a user who likes to reformat your hard drive regularly or swap PC's regularly there is a one off administration fee of £25 that covers you for as many swaps or registrations as you require. No ongoing fees just a one off purchase price.
2. The minimum PC specs we recommend are quite standard on most modern PC's, we recommend a 2Ghz processor speed, windows 98/2000/XP operating system and at least 1MB Broadband Connection.
3. The prefered method of payment is by Paypal and once the transaction is complete you are directed to a download page where you get instant access to your software.
4. NO, we do not believe in the need to access your Login details they are personal and should remain so in our opinion.
5. The software licence purchased is a single PC licence if you require an additional licence for your own private use you can email us for the payment details and the heavily discounted licence fee.
Bet-IE Answers
1. The most common cause of registration problems like this is the security software on your PC blocking Bet-IE communicating with the online database to register. Check your settings for Firewalls, AntiVirus and Spyware software.
2. A common problem is that the Betfair URL has become unselected, click on "settings" and click on RESET ALL and then try logging in. Do not keep trying to log in as after a number of attemps if still unsuccessful Betfair will temporarily freeze your login details. If you cannot login after using RESET ALL consult the Help Guide for the "Alternative Login" method.
Also, see point 3. below
3. Make sure before you settle down to use Betfair you get into the habit of clearing your temporary internet files and offline content. These unnecessary files accumulate on your hard drive and in time will slow your PC speed down.
To clear them goto Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Temporary Internet Files "Delete Files" > then check the box in the pop up that says "Delete all offline content" > OK
If you want Bet-IE to do this simple routine for you click Help/Clear Internet tmp Files
We recommend the free Ccleaner software, it is a quick and easy way to delete temporary internet files and much more. http://www.ccleaner.com4. As has been previously stated we do not access your personal details in any way shape or form, so to deposit funds or withdraw funds you have to login through your normal browser transfer the funds into the Australian Wallet and minimize the window. Then login to Bet-IE and your funds will appear in the wallet. When the session has ended close Bet-IE and transfer funds back to your account or withdraw.
5. The common problem here is the minimum stake setting is different to your actual minimum stake, to correct this simply open "settings" click on the Minimum Stake and adjust to your minimum stake so input 2 for UK, 4 for Europe, 6 for Australia etc. Even if you choose to bet below minimum stakes this setting has to be correctly entered. If you are using the Trading function or Trigger make sure you are not using below minimum stakes option as this takes 3 bets to be processed and the speed required with these functions means the price can have adjusted before the bet is matched.
6. In the settings you can firstly check your refresh rate is set to 1000 (1 sec) refresh rate. If this is set to refresh then once the bet is submitted click on the Refresh button below Login to refresh your market position.
7. To cancel an unmatched bet you simply check the box next to the horses name and click Modify / Submit bets button. Or if you would like to adjust staking or odds instead of cancelling simply adjust the staking / odds and click Modify / Submit bets button.
8. Our unique Ratings and Ratios are free and are available to our software users only with access to the Live Chatroom. The daily information is displayed in the Help/Messages area of the software. Value Horse Finder Answers
1. Unfortunately this question is impossible to answer as every market is totally unique and positions develop regularly but its impossible to place a number on. All we can say is there are many positions available week in week out.
2. You need a Betfair account to start with. Obviously the more bookmaker accounts you have available from the Oddschecker/Racing Post Betting Shop sites you have the more flexiblity you have to achieve your Arbs. However as a starting point you could use just a few bookmaker accounts maybe Ladbrokes, Bet 365 and Stan James.
3. Sadly there are circumstances that a loss can occur, however with a little check of the market before rushing in to place a bet the loss can be avoided. The main problem is a non runner reduces the bookmakers place payout to say 2 places and Betfair honor the original 3 places. This can leave you in a position of a Full liability for the Lay. however with a little thoughtful planning you can virtually eliminate this risk.
We would recommend not using markets too early in the day, as most non runners are taken out mid morning or on sudden changes of going so by delaying your starting position you eliminate the non runner risk. Also don't use markets that are right on the place borderline so 5 runners (this applies to 2 places), 8 runners (this applies to 3 places) or 16 runners in a handicap (this applies to 4 places) as these are usually the markets that you find have non runners and can affect your trades. Try where possible to leave your use of the software until the last 1/2 hour before the race starts, this helps with your non runners position and also the markets have a chance to have greater liquidity.
4. In the Analysis screen of the software you can manually input the position you find yourself in and you can then reassess your position to trade out with the best outcome for your bank.
5. Yes in the data pane at the top of the software the arbitrage positions are highlighted Red and Blue the Blue bar indicates a Win arbitrage is available. To take advantage of this just place a straight win bet with the bookmaker (not an EW bet) and then place a win Lay bet on Betfair (no need for the place Lay).
6. No the software does all the calculations and staking for you, leaving you to click through and place the bookmakers bet and then use the instant bet submission for Betfairs win and lay markets.
7. The software has a unique registration code for your PC and this code needs forwarding to the VHF help desk. If the code is not visible on startup click Help/My Code and forward it to
vhf@bettingprofitsoftware.com
8. The software is extremely profitable, however the profits are directly linked to the Return On Investment Data and this is unique to every market. We recommend a starting point of 4% as your trigger to place a bet and then use the betting variables to squeeze every drop of profit out of the trade.
